This session felt especially meaningful to me. The last time I photographed them, we were out at Coyote Hills with their parents visiting from China — exploring the trails together and documenting a completely different season of their lives.

Coming back to photograph them again, now as they prepare to welcome a baby, felt like such a joy. There is something so special about being invited back into people’s lives and getting to witness their story continue to grow.
