There was something quietly meaningful about this session. Having just arrived in the Bay Area, he wanted to mark this new chapter with images that felt honest — not overly polished, but true to this moment in his life.

We photographed in the places that had already become part of his days, and that gave the session a quiet sense of grounding. It felt less like a portrait session, and more like a way of holding onto the beginning of something new.
